ChatGPT intent

The company behind the click,
and the question behind the company.

ChatGPT Ads report clicks by campaign, not by company. ChatGPT intent closes that gap: when someone clicks your ad and lands on your site, the pixel identifies the company, IntentBid matches the visit to the buyer question your campaign targeted and writes one plain line on what the company was looking for.

Company, not just click

Every identified company that arrived from a ChatGPT ad, with the date and the campaign.

The question behind it

The buyer question of the campaign that fits the pages the company read best.

Buying stage

Research, comparison or decision, from the pages read after the click.

No AI call, no credits

The summary line is built from the question and the pages, so it costs nothing to run.

How it works

  1. You target buyer questions. ChatGPT Ads match your ad to the conversation, with context hints for the questions your buyers ask.
  2. Someone clicks. The click carries a ChatGPT referrer and the campaign's UTM parameters to your site.
  3. The pixel identifies the company from the business network the visit came from. Visits from home and mobile connections stay anonymous.
  4. IntentBid joins them. The campaign's questions, the pages read and the company become one row: "Acme Logistics asked about route planning software for 50+ trucks, read pricing and the TMS integration page."

Honest limits

  • Not every click becomes a company. Private visitors on home Wi-Fi or mobile data are not identified, and neither are people who block scripts. Expect a share of clicks, not all of them.
  • ChatGPT Ads don't target companies. You cannot upload an account list to ChatGPT Ads; the account becomes known when it clicks.
  • Contextual only in the EEA and Switzerland. Ads there are matched on the current conversation only, with no personalisation from wider ChatGPT use, so European target accounts are best covered with LinkedIn ABM next to ChatGPT Ads.
  • No conversation data. OpenAI does not share the user's chat with advertisers. The question shown is the one your campaign targeted, not what the person typed.

Straight answers.

Does OpenAI tell you which company clicked?

No. OpenAI reports clicks and spend by campaign. The company comes from IntentBid's pixel on your site, after the click.

Do I see the user's actual prompt?

No. Advertisers never see conversations. IntentBid shows the buyer question your campaign targeted that best fits what the company read.

Can I send these companies to my CRM?

Yes. They are identified companies like any other: they get a score and an ABM stage, and can be sent to HubSpot, Attio, Pipedrive or a webhook.

Can I then retarget them on LinkedIn?

Yes. Add them to an audience or a TAL list and run a LinkedIn ABM campaign at the buying committee of the companies that clicked in ChatGPT.

Which countries does this work in?

Wherever ChatGPT Ads run for your account. In the EEA and Switzerland they are matched on the current conversation only.
