Delivery switches
Audience Network off and audience expansion off, so the budget stays on LinkedIn, on the people you targeted.
Spend Guard
LinkedIn defaults are built to spend. Audience Network shows your ads outside LinkedIn, audience expansion widens the targeting, interns and junior members click, competitors watch your ads and existing customers keep seeing your acquisition message. Spend Guard switches all of that off per campaign and shows what it was costing you.

Audience Network off and audience expansion off, so the budget stays on LinkedIn, on the people you targeted.
Unpaid, training and entry-level members, job titles that spend without engaging, competitors, won customers from your CRM.
Run campaigns only on the days and hours you choose, in your time zone. LinkedIn has no native ad schedule.
Ads with enough impressions and a CTR far under the campaign median are paused or suggested for pausing.
| Saver | Why it wastes ABM budget | What Spend Guard does |
|---|---|---|
| LinkedIn Audience Network | Impressions on third-party apps and sites, with no company reporting | Turns it off on the campaign |
| Audience expansion | Reaches people similar to your targeting, often outside your account list | Turns it off |
| Junior members | Unpaid, training and entry-level seniorities rarely sit on a buying committee | Adds them as exclusions |
| Job titles that don't engage | Titles that take impressions and spend but never click | You pick titles from the job titles report and exclude them |
| Competitors | They research your ads; you pay for it | Excludes the competitors on your profile |
| Customers | Won deals keep seeing acquisition ads | Excludes companies with a won deal in your CRM |
| Nights and weekends | Budget spent when buyers are off | Pauses and resumes on your schedule |
Your own company is always excluded. Delivery switches and exclusions are applied once a day; schedules are checked every time IntentBid syncs your LinkedIn account, and every bidding agent action is logged with its reason.
Before you switch anything on, Spend Guard shows each LinkedIn campaign with the settings that leak budget: which campaigns have Audience Network or expansion on, how much went to unpaid, training and entry-level members, and which job titles took 200+ impressions without a single click, with their spend. It is a starting point for a conversation, not a promise of savings: what you cut depends on your own campaigns.
LinkedIn has no day-parting. Spend Guard pauses the campaign outside your hours and resumes it when the window opens, in the time zone you choose. It never resumes a campaign that you paused yourself. Because LinkedIn paces the daily budget across the hours a campaign is live, a shorter window means the same daily budget is spent in fewer hours, so check the budget after you add a schedule.
Pricing
Your own ad accounts, no media markup. Ads and reports never use credits. Standard includes $25 of credits a month.
Only the campaigns you switch it on for. You choose the savers per campaign, and you can turn them off again at any time.
It depends on your roles. For campaigns aimed at managers, directors and above, the change is small; for broad function targeting it can be larger. The audience size is shown in Campaign Manager after the change.
From the won deals in your connected CRM (HubSpot, Attio or Pipedrive). Without a CRM, add customers to the exclusions list yourself.
Yes. It starts in suggest mode, which lists weak ads without touching them. Switch it to auto and it pauses them for you, never the last active ad of a campaign.
No. Spend Guard uses LinkedIn settings. ChatGPT Ads have their own controls, such as context hints and negative phrases, which you set when you build the campaign.
